Born in Lisbon, Portugal, 1979. Lives in Bristol, England.
Studied Journalism in the Professional School of Image and Communication of Lisbon from 1999 to 2002.
In 2002 began work experience at Lisbon’s famous newspaper A Capital, becoming staff photographer until the closure of the publication in 2005.
Lectured in photography and laboratory techniques for the Professional School of Image and Communication of Lisbon.
Became freelance in 2005 and had work published in several national magazines.
In 2007 moved to England looking for new challenges and planning the next steps for a career as a photographer.
Currently doing a degree in documentary photography at Newport University in South Wales.
